Over the course of an intense day, Innes will introduce and coach the Surrealist ‘String of Consciousness' technique

Individual and group automatic mark making to ‘loosen up’ and then work bigger and bigger.

Reflection & refinement: no ‘right or wrong’

Playing with mark-making, and introducing colour tones & layering to accentuate them

Focussing on process, using intuition and play to generate contemporary images

Create a large-scale (1.2 x 1.2m) individual canvas to take home
