Over the course of an intense day, Innes will introduce and coach the Surrealist ‘String of Consciousness' technique

• Individual & group automatic mark making to ‘loosen up’ and then progress to working bigger & bigger.

  
  

• Reflection & refinement: no ‘right or wrong’

  
  

• Playing with mark-making, and introduce colour tones and layering to accentuate them

  
  

• Focussing on the process, using intuition & play to generate contemporary images

  
  

• Create a large-scale (1.2 x 1.2m) individual canvas to take home
