About the event
This is first workshop in the series of events in our "Creative Programme 2024" will be held over the weekend of 11th -12th May, facilitated by Artist, Jonathan Shearer
2-Day Workshop on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th May (10:00 – 4:30pm).
Saturday will look at a variety of ways to develop paintings from sketches to larger works. Scaling up, composition, tonal values and understanding colour will also be explored.
On Sunday 12th May. Painting ‘En Plein Air’ – (weather dependent), will look at a variety of approaches to drawing and painting outdoors. From sketch books to working on a larger scale, and what equipment to take and use while working outside
