Experimenting with Mixed Media

Some fantastic work was made today at Rebecca Westguards Life Drawing Class. Trying to capturing the gesture and correct proportions and anatomy of the model can be very demanding, so it was wonderful to try working in a selection of mixed media. Enjoying the freedom to layer pencil and wax crayons and pastels over ink, then working into paint, and experimenting with texture has produced some loose and very expressive artworks.
